What do I get?
The book to read online here, in a reader that remembers your page, and an EPUB made for you to keep in Apple Books, Kindle, Kobo, or any reader app. Both are the current drop, and both are replaced when the next one lands.
What is a drop?
The monthly release of the book. On the 25th of each month the book is re-read against X's code and rules, the numbers are re-measured, and the new version drops. You get an email with what changed and a link; the book here is already the new drop. On Apple Books, Apple delivers it to the Books app.
Is there a subscription?
No. One price. Drops are included for twelve months from the day you buy. When they end, you keep the last drop you received, and you can add another twelve months of drops for $19.99 whenever you like. Nothing renews on its own.
Here or Apple Books: which one?
They're separate purchases of the same book. Here, $24.99: the online reader with highlights, notes, and bookmarks, an EPUB in your name, and twelve months of drops. On Apple Books, $39.99: the book in the Books app with Apple's own highlights and notes, and every drop for as long as the book is listed there. An Apple purchase doesn't include an account here, and a purchase here doesn't include the Apple edition.
Why isn't it on Amazon?
Because it drops monthly and Amazon can't deliver that. When a Kindle book is revised, only new buyers get the new version; people who already bought it keep the old one. Here and on Apple Books, every buyer gets every drop.
Where does the information come from?
Four places. X's open-source feed code. X's help center and the program's legal terms. X's monthly Under the Hood enforcement reports. And live accounts run through our own software on the X API: every post published for real, and its impressions, replies, follows, timing, and more read back and measured. The code says what X rewards. The measurements show what it did. That second half is ours, and it is why the book says things nobody can get from the code alone.
Is anything guaranteed?
No. The book explains how X's published code and rules work. It does not guarantee reach, followers, or admission to the Original Content Rewards Program. X decides who gets in and who gets paid. Do I need a Premium account?
